Sales Engineer - Remote in Georgia only (U.S.)

Selectek is seeking a Sales Engineer who will learn the industry and business objectives to have a clear understanding of the products represented and the ability to demonstrate how they work in the customers application.
The responsibilities will include establishing the needs of the customer and recommending and quoting products and solutions.
Required:
A bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical, or other technical field, with a knack for controls and fluid dynamics.
A minimum of 2 years of sales or marketing experience coupled with a minimum of 3 years technical application experience as an operating or project engineer.
Technical knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of industrial process application.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
The ability to identify and follow up on leads.
Knowledge of sales promotion techniques.
Excellent presentation skills and a professional appearance.
A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel throughout Georgia, with some travel into the surrounding states.
A self-starter, with the ability to work out of a home office, and a suitable home space from which to work undistracted.
The ability and willingness to carry and use tools and technical instrumentation to assist customers and diagnose problems when needed.
Willingness to travel to the home office in Greenville, SC on a regular basis for initial training and subsequent interaction with the sales, engineering and service teams.
