As the Lead BCBA with Essential Speech and ABA Therapy of Sandy Springs, you'll oversee patients with autism up to age 6, providing exceptional programmatic guidance for patients, and families, and mentoring RBTs, Fieldwork Students/Case Managers, and Trainers.

Interns, BCBAs, lead RBTs, Trainers, and Behavior Technicians).
Engender a positive work environment by sharing information, using emotional intelligence and problem-solving methods, being open to feedback and advice from others.
Manage and maintain appropriate therapy staff levels through daily coordination and communication of assignments to meet clinical and operational goals.
Manage and monitor productivity and efficiency to meet clinical goals and agreed upon billable hours.
Conduct chart audits and staff observations to ensure compliance with standards of care.
Ensure that clinical staff are providing proper documentation based on insurance guidelines, company policies, and facility standards.
Identify and recommend new programs/service enhancements that contribute to excellence in client service and experience.
Schedule and lead monthly staff meeting with Office Manager and RBTs to discuss department updates, respond to, or forward questions and concerns to responsible party.
Complete and document performance reviews for all staff within your department and based on company policy.
Actively contribute to the recruiting, hiring, and retention of ABA program staff, attend ABA events, and interview candidates as needed.
Represent the ethical standards of the company, identifying and reporting instances of poor patient care and communicating concerns to the Office Manager as needed.
Respond to and act appropriately in emergency or disaster situations.
Education and
Experience:
Master's degree, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or closely related field.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and CEU compliant.
Recommended at least two years of certification with the BCBA as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst Successful completion of 8-hour supervision training Experience with skills assessments and curricula (e.
g.
, Vineland, VB-MAPP, and ABLLS-R), required.
Proficient and advanced knowledge with behavioral assessments (e.
g.
, Practical Functional Assessments) Strong background in behavior reduction program development and oversight Meets the BCBA qualifications to supervise BCBAs, pursuing certification, and RBTs.
Demonstrates ability to supervise and effectively train and mentor others.
Ability to communicate knowledge in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to professionals and non-professionals.
