Incumbent will provide day to day Administrative and Clerical support for the building Human Resources functions as well as ensure building Compliance for items related to Safety, regulatory compliance, including documentation, reporting, and training.

Responsibilities:
Processes employment applications and supports other employment activities, such as sourcing and screening applicants, coordinating, and scheduling interviews, and conducting phone and in-person interviews for hourly employees.
Assist with New Hire Orientation as well as create and maintain new employee personnel files.
Updates the building Employee Engagement boards with birthdays, anniversaries, and other pertinent information.
Assists the Sr.
Safety and Compliance Manager and Operations Director in ensuring that all statutory reporting is completed accurately and timely.
Lead Safety committee and conduct monthly meetings.
File and retrieve Compliance documents, records, and reports.
Enter changes to the HRIS system according to Employee Action Forms and Employee Separation Forms received.
Ensures accuracy of information received and follows up on missing or invalid content.
Maintains all employee changes in personnel files, both paper and electronic.
Examines employee files in order to answer inquiries and provide information to authorized persons as requested.
Maintains various logs, spreadsheets, and trackers such as exit interview data, invoicing, employee relations tracking and provides regular communication to management on the status of each.
Provides day-to-day support to the site Human Resources Generalist to ensure Human Resources deliverables are met.
Notify team members of report due dates and collaborating with the Compliance Team to ensure all reports are received in a timely manner.
Conduct business related research, analysis, and reporting Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff, and agency information; Interact with clients, vendors, and visitors.
Complete monthly Safety and Food Grade audits Conduct Safety Orientations for New Hires Conduct daily safety walks in the facility.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and
Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Must have at least one year of experience as a Human Resources Coordinator and Administrative Assistant or Receptionist Warehouse industry safety and compliance knowledge a strong plus Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Others:
High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point Detail orientated.
Ability to interact with employees at all levels.
Excellent verbal and written skills Ability to analyze and interpret data.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Physical Demands:
The Human Resources and Compliance Coordinator must be able to lift a minimum of 0 pounds to a maximum of 25 pounds, and able to perform repetitive standing, sitting, stooping, walking, stretching, reaching, and use full range of body motions.
Work Environment:
The work environment consists equally of warehouse and office for this dual role.
