Transport checked baggage from designated x-ray/screening devices or hand search areas to the baggage conveyor belts.
Load baggage as needed into tubs on a baggage conveyor belt.
Transport oversize baggage and/or live animals from the baggage check-in area to the baggage room.
Ensure and maintain a supply of baggage tubs for the conveyor belts at all times.
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with time constraints to meet arrival and departure goals.
A professional and positive image must be consistently displayed by the employee.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk continuously for 8 - 10 hours without sitting for long periods of time, use hands; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; converse and hear.
Must be able to work in tight places.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
