This is a 3
months contract to possible hire opportunity based in Atlanta, GA.
The position of AV Support Technician - Video Conferencing performs troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of Audio, Video, and Network connectivity AV equipment and peripheral equipment at corporate locations.
The candidate works on assignments of a diverse scope where the analysis of data and hardware requires the evaluation of identifiable factors.
The candidate exercises judgment with supervision within the generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and acts as a liaison between customers, departments, and within the organization to lead problem resolution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education and experience working on AV technologies.
Familiar with all levels of LAN, WAN, Voice, Video, and Security technologies.
5 or more years of experience directly working with customer and client technical teams CCNA Voice, CCNP Voice, or CCIE Collaboration certification is preferred.
AV Wiring design and configuration is a plus o Implementation, migration planning, and solution testing.
Responsibilities:
Essential duties for the position may include, but are not limited to the following:
Provide onsite support to Authorized Users with operational and technical support and meet specified SLAs.
Resolve incidents and problems associated with VC & AV equipment.
Perform reactive troubleshooting to effectively identify potential incidents or problems and attempt to eliminate them to occur in the future.
Support Authorized Users in connecting or attempting to connect to corporate VC AV Devices and assist in the coordination and completion of accessing LAN; connection to WAN; and accessing appropriate LAN segments.
Provide repair and maintenance for certain AV devices or follow prescribed RMA procedures.
Install, upgrade, and repair some VC equipment.
Provide on-site hardware support for general troubleshooting and problems for VC Equipment.
Provide regular, accurate, and timely feedback regarding customer requirements which shall include supervising assignments and maintaining timely communication with sales, operations, and branch office personnel.
Maintain accurate inventory of Utilized AV Equipment for this Location.
Communicate technical information to technical and non-technical teams and customers.
Work with Deskside support services as required when EUC devices (PC) are interfaced with AV equipment.
