If you're inquisitive, ambitious, and excited by REST endpoints that open doors, run compressors and pump fluids then this may be the job for you!Minimum QualificationsComputer Science degree or equivalent engineering degree with three years of industry experienceExcellent knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and testing toolsAbility to triage problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose resolutionsAbility to work independently, raise issues and take corrective actionDetail oriented, analytical, and creative thinker with passion for quality processesFluent in software QA metrics, operations, and statisticsStrong interpersonal communication skillsHighly Preferred QualificationsField-experience troubleshooting issues and communicating with clients and customersAbility to design and execute issue reproduction scenariosStrong working knowledge of Linux, shell scripting, and unix command line toolsStrong working knowledge of Java and, at least, one other software languageAbility to use backend communication protocols such as APIs and web servicesKnowledge of version control systems such as GIT or similar toolsExperience working in a mixed software and hardware environmentResponsibilitiesAs a Software QA Field Technician you will work closely with customers, software development teams, hardware teams, and product owners to investigate and triage issues in the field, reproduce issues in a lab environment, identify defect patterns, and document testing results all to maintain the highest quality of the Freestyle fleet of dispensersPartner with customers and operations teams to analyze and evaluate field issuesAnalyze logs and stack traces to assist development resources in defect debuggingWork closely with software and hardware development teams to identify root cause of field defectsProvide support on software release testing to understand new dispenser features and functionalityProvide support for innovation projects and engineering prototypesGrow to be a subject matter expert of the software and dispenser functionality Recommended Skills Api Analytical Attention To Detail Backend Communication Corrective And Preventive Action (Capa) Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
