Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and regulations in all IT operations.
Implement and maintain risk management strategies and frameworks related to IT processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate risks associated with IT systems and processes.
Perform audits and assessments to identify and address compliance gaps and potential risks.
Provide expertise in PCI compliance standards and ensure adherence across relevant systems and projects.
Utilize knowledge of IT-centric or IT-forward practices to enhance compliance and risk management initiatives.
Support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities by assessing IT risk and compliance implications.
Familiarity with GRC Tool, specifically Archer, to streamline compliance and risk management processes.
Required Skills:
Demonstrable experience in SOX compliance within an IT environment.
Proficient in risk management methodologies and practices.
Strong background in IT-centric or IT-forward roles.
Degree in a relevant field (Major in MIS preferred, other majors considered).
Consideration for additional experience in lieu of a degree (Minimum 6 Years Relevant Experience).
Expertise in audit procedures and practices.
Thorough understanding and application of PCI compliance standards.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities.
Knowledge of the payment industry landscape and its compliance requirements.
Familiarity with GRC Tool, specifically Archer, for managing risk and compliance processes.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
