Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative, collaborates with department leadership in the development of the strategic plan for the workers' compensation program, ensuring its alignment to the organizational vision.
Assists in the marketing, referral development, and customer satisfaction efforts for the workers' compensation program.
Acts as a liaison between the practice, customers, Workers' compensation community stakeholders, as well as plans events, and seeks out new business development opportunities.
Plans, organizes, and directs the evaluation of new and existing business opportunities to grow market share, optimize revenue and achieve budgeted business development targets.
Works closely in collaboration with supervisor for business development of workers' compensation service lines and facilitating the strategic planning process prior to operational implementation.
Contributes to the implementation of all growth strategies to develop, enhance and monitor relations between medical staff and referral sources.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)As a key member of the Business Development team the Business Development Representative:
o Assists in the workers' compensation marketing plan and strategic goals for the organization.
o Utilizes strategies to grow practice presence in workers' compensation.
o Performs in-depth client/prospect needs analysis resulting in full solutions proposals as needed.
o Analyzes all aspects of territory and accounts and identifies largest areas for improvement and implements strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
o Develops and creates networking opportunities with referral sources and agencies within the community.
o Assists in creation of marketing promotional materials and manages printed materials-brochures, booklets, business cards, etc.
o Networks and participates in community events and committees.
o Coordinates professional development opportunities and other community events.
o Prospects, identifies, contacts, and develops new and qualified customers/clients, focusing on attorneys, employers, and may include other referral sources.
o Develops and maintains service relationships with clients.
o Assists in the delivery of product solutions to meet the needs of prospects and customers.
o Identifies issues of referral accounts to assure complete satisfaction through all stages of the sales and delivery process.
o Manages relationships with clients to retain/renew existing business and add incremental business.
o Assist with implementation and development of specialty programs for referral development.
o Monitors satisfaction of patients, referral sources and other customers.
o Contribute to a culture within workers' compensation that fosters a high performing team that are focused on the achievement of growth and profit objectives.
o Communicates plans and status to team and leadership.
o Reviews practice month end reports, to include but not limited to new patient counts by provider, revenues, and targeted service lines.
o Prepares monthly marketing reports and other marketing reports, as needed.
o Performs special projects as requested.
o Responsible for all other duties as assigned.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
