Software Tester
Our government client is looking for an experienced Software Tester on a 6
months renewable contractopportunityin Atlanta, GA.
Position:
Software Tester Responsibilities Create and execute test plans and scripts, including test automation, that validate application business requirements and systems goals, meet requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.
Collaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing, such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods.
Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
Test any new software to ensure integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications.
Analyze formal test results in order to discover and report any defects, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.
Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices.
Required/Desired Skills and
Experience:
2 years of Proficient in system testing best practices and methodologies Required.
2 years of Proficient in developing, documenting, and organizing test cases and with reporting test execution results Required.
2 years of Proficient in analytical problem solving and critical thinking Required.
2 years of Strong aptitude for understanding software requirements to ensure comprehensive testing coverage Required.
2 years of Hands-on experience with developing and executing test automation Highly desired 2 years of Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Highly desired.
Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university Required.
