Piezo Therapeutics has an opening for a Research Associate to join our fast-paced team and support efforts to characterize our proprietary platform.
This is an exciting opportunity for a researcher with a background in in vivo research to grow their career in the drug delivery and vaccines/therapeutics spaces.
The work performed in this position will support Piezo's research in transforming the delivery of nucleic acid medicines (mRNA, DNA) toward improved safety, affordability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities- Execute and coordinate in vivo studies across various projects, involving animal handling, drug administration, and sample collection- Monitor biodistribution of nucleic acid vectors and payloads through in vivo bioluminescent imaging (IVIS)- Aid in the evaluation of various vectors, payloads, and delivery mechanisms across a diverse range of vaccines and therapeutics- Work at the bench carrying out standard assays/processes such as ELISA, Western Blots, flow cytometry, etc- Assist in third-party research collaborations/partnerships and CRO/CMO relationships- Assist in design and implementation of protocols for human studies, clinical trials, and regulatory reports- Gather experimental data and provide regular research updates in the form of written reports and/or verbal presentations to senior leadership Qualifications- Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Animal Science, or related Life Sciences field along with a minimum of 1 year of industry or academic research experience- Experience in animal handling and drug administration is required- Experience with DNA/mRNA vaccines or therapeutics is a distinct advantage, but not required (we will provide training)- Experience with in vivo imaging, ELISAs, Western Blotting, virology, etc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
