Fulltime: Atlassian Administrator in Atlanta, GA
Roles and
Responsibilities:
Atlassian Products (JIRA, Confluence , BitBucket and Bamboo ) administration including Installations , upgrades , security, vulnerability remediation and maintenance activities Monitor the health of the Atlassian Products and proactively identify and troubleshoot issues.
Configure security for the organization.
Provide recommendations on Atlassian products, plug-ins, add-on and roadmap features for future enhancements.
Integrate Atlassian Products with other tools including Okta, AD etc.
Create, configure, and maintain JIRA Projects, Jira Workflow , dashboards, add-ons, reports and integration with other tools.
Collaborate with local and offshore development teams to set up development guidelines and best practices using Atlassian Product suite.
Work with teams to set up Confluence Spaces, Jira Projects, and customize Jira Service Management instances.
Manage users and group permissions of Atlassian Products.
Automate processes as much as possible using devops practices.
Work closely with Atlassian support in addressing any major upgrades, plug-ins and critical tickets.
Identify gaps and provide hands-on development and enablement assistance to application teams technical users.
Develop more robust cost metrics and benchmarking capabilities to assist in efforts supporting IT cost management.
Experience:
5
years of experience with configuration and administration of Atlassian Products such as Jira , Confluence , Bitbucket and Bamboo.
3-5
years of experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, Splunk and APM tools.
Experience in Relational database management systems like MySQL, Postgres and Oracle.
Experience with scripting languages like Groovy, Python, Shell Scripting.
Experience in addressing system and application vulnerabilities.
Strong experience with source control management tools like git.
Experience with developing automated CI/CD pipelines (experience with Jenkins is preferred).
Experience installing/managing Jira plugins, 3rd party apps, scripts, and customizations.
Experience in integrating Atlassian Products with Okta/SSO solutions as the identity provider.
Experience designing and engineering complex ticketing and/or business process workflows, agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of REST APIs and web-hooks for integration purposes.
