IT Finance Specialist

Requires understanding of budgeting and financial planning process.
Identifies sources of available funds to support resolving shortfalls to better align funds within budget constraints.
Maintains and archives relevant financial documentation electronically and physically to provide timely and accurate responses.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES Program analysis, including budget planning, funds allocation, accounts management, internal controls, and reporting.
Data collection and monitoring of spending.
Management of spend against approved board spend authority and contracts.
Guidance on budget-related matters and assistance with budget amendments, analysis, and error resolution.
Analysis of budget variances and preparation of regular and special reports.
Maintenance of files and records for documenting activities and complying with requirements.
Monitoring vendor and service provider contracts for expiration dates, scope, and costs.
Processing vendor invoices and verifying payment activity weekly.
Presentation of results through reports, graphs, spreadsheets, and charts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Lookups and Pivot table).
Strong analytical capabilities with demonstrated organizational and problem-solving ability.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, with a focus on budget analysis.
Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong understanding of IT operations Proficient in data analysis tools.
