Medical Transportation Driver We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Transportation Driver to join our team.
As a Medical Transportation Driver, you will be responsible for transporting patients using Self-Supported (Ambulatory), Wheelchair, Stretcher, and BLS (Basic Life Support) modes of transportation to and from medical appointments, hospital visits, and other medical-related destinations.
Responsibilities:
Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, hospital visits, and other medical-related destinations using Self-Supported (Ambulatory), Wheelchair, Stretcher, and BLS (Basic Life Support) modes of transportation Assist patients in and out of the vehicle, as needed Maintain a clean and safe vehicle, including performing routine inspections and maintenance Follow all traffic laws and company policies and procedures Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and medical personnel Report any incidents or accidents immediately to the appropriate parties Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of trips and mileage Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and clean driving record Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate and patient-focused approach to customer service Familiarity with basic medical terminology is preferred Must pass a background check and drug test
