Sr. Manager Cash Posting

Vaco has partnered with a quickly growing client to hire a Senior Manager of Cash Posting.
This person will be responsible for orchestrating, coordinating, and supervising the day-to-day activities of the Payment Posting Team.
The Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in overall departmental planning under the guidance of the Senior Director of Revenue and Analysis.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, direction, and development opportunities, including cross-training, to ensure timely and accurate completion of cash posting, EFT processing, payment posting, reconciliation, and reporting.
Serve as a knowledgeable resource for internal and external stakeholders, addressing questions related to data posting functions.
Troubleshoot and resolve technological or process issues encountered during daily activities.
Assist with various analyses, including preparation, escalation, financial impact assessment, and potential resolution.
Support internal and external audits by researching account activity.
Collaborate with the Director in establishing and reviewing internal controls to meet or exceed department goals, objectives, standards, and benchmarks.
Assist, monitor, and implement corrective action in Posting Team workflow processes.
Plan and implement quality assurance processes for all departmental activities.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
Manage and oversee employee performance through performance planning, coaching, and development.
Facilitate and evaluate daily and monthly close-out processes, assessing the quality and accuracy of tasks performed by staff Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare Management; or 5
years managing the revenue cycle of a healthcare organization required Healthcare experience, minimum of 5 years.
Progressive management experience, minimum of 5 years.
Cash reconciliation experience; minimum of 5 years.
Experience with EPIC.
Strong proficiency with Excel and reporting.
Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
