Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4
years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as master's degree and 2 years' experience, a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years' experience in a related field. Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks A systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills and a sense of drive Understanding of Linux operating systems and Docker containerization Strong experience in Terraform or another IaC language for managing infrastructure and environments at scale Fluent coding experience with at least one of these languages:
Python, .NET, Ruby Experience rolling out highly available, mission-critical applications Experience with version control systems (Git specifically) and trunk-based branching strategies Experience designing, deploying, and supporting solutions in AWS Experience with CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild/CodeDeploy) Experience with database infrastructure (RDS, Aurora, MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB) Excellent written communication, problem-solving, and process management skills Desire to work in a fast-paced, evolving, growing, dynamic environment.
