MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Personnel Daily supervision of hourly workers (will rotate with same crew) Motivates employees to work at their personal best at all times Performance management of employees, efficient and cooperative work group.
Operations Manage daily production work orders to completion within scheduled time frame, assigning tasks to workers as required Monitor manufacturing times to maximize efficiency, making recommendations for improvement where applicable.
Communicate stock levels of inventory to Production Manager.
Ensure that the workplace is operating in accordance with OSHA and local standards Maintain good housekeeping practices EDUCATION High School diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE 2 - 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings/documents Experience working with lumber and plywood and related tools (Nailguns, saws, tape measure, etc) Experience enforcing the Occupational Health and Safety Act Job Type:
