Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop software to monitor data from IoT sensors platform. Develop the overall platform including mobile application, website and backend to make sure that data from IoT device can reach the cloud. Advice on the development of the firmware that goes inside the IoT sensors and ensure the program running on the IoT sensor communicates with the overall platform. Operations include develop and maintain codebase, report and work with hardware and firmware teams, and making proposal and documentation on features for the IoT sensors platform. Requires 10% Domestic travel required to meet vendors and customers as needed. Skills & RequirementsEducation / Experience Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information System, closely related field, or foreign equivalent. Two (2) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or similar occupation (all levels accepted) such as Software Engineer, or similar occupations. Specific Skills / AbilitiesPosition requires two (2) years of experience in:
Development of full stack system with application deployed and running on public cloud system. Cloud-based service interaction system design. Deploying full stack web frontend and backend application. Google Cloud Platform and Azure. Cloud computing system and backend REST API development. ReactNative, Java, Kotlin using Android Studio, React, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Designing real-time, secure, and reliable cloud software architecture using JavaScript, Python, and Java programming. Security and encryption including AES-128, 256 using C/C++/Java/ JavaScript to implement secure end-to-end encryption communication channels. Linux operating systems, scheduling, networking, data exchange and cloud communication. Google Cloud Firebase and Azure IoT Platform. OTA and remote firmware updates and building CI/CD pipelines for IoT Platform that support embedded binary products Developing modular and maintainable code. Testing and troubleshooting deployed artifacts on cloud infrastructures. Developing code in an agile, production environment. Interfacing with web, mobile and backend developers to develop networking solutions for overall platform systems. Reading UML, Software Interaction Diagrams, Swimlane Diagram, and Business Process Diagrams related to the implementation of requirements of overall system. Documentation of software code. Debugging and maintaining existing cloud pipeline deployed on public cloud infrastructure. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
