This temp to perm position will offer a qualified candidate a great opportunity to work on a major public health project. Resolving pended healthcare claims, prior approval requests and responding to providers. Analyzing claims to determine whether or not the claims should be approved or denied for payment. Reviewing and addressing provider inquiries regarding claim adjudication Meeting all required metrics for the position Applying knowledge of medical coding and various medical claims forms to the claims process. QualificationsBenefits for permanent employees include:

Experience:
o HS Diploma requiredo 2-5 years of medical claims processing experienceo Experience with medical coding to include, diagnosis coding and terminology o Ability to multi-task and follow documented claims processeso Capability to prioritize and organize work assignments to meet deadlineso Position is centered on meeting quality and production claim adjudication objectiveso Able to work independently and as part of a team with little supervisiono Proficient with MS Office skills, particularly Excelo Excellent oral and written communication skillso Strong attention to detail and the ability to make appropriate decisions based on the information presentedo Previous CDC/NIOSH experience strongly preferredo Ability to obtain and maintain required clearancePM18PI4e486be3757e-25448-33282712 Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Claim Processing Communication Metrics Microsoft Office Multitasking Apply to this job.
