23896How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)Digital Enterprise Solutions is seeking a General Manager to lead a team in charge of evolving state of the art value forecasting, offer management and next generation optimization through researching, developing, and integrating technical solutions that result in better customer offers and incremental revenue for Delta Air Lines.
The core objective is to identify, define and execute a strategy to solve commercially relevant problems and implement solutions by leveraging a variety of techniques ranging from process improvement, optimization, data clustering, and machine learning.
The General Manager needs to understand the commercial and competitive environments to identify current needs and create opportunities to generate a future competitive advantage.
In addition, the General Manager should keep up to date with offer evolution, industry practices, and optimization advancements.
This position will use extensive data and analytical technics to both prioritize and justify development efforts for the budget and IT capital planning processes.
The General Manager should develop fluid communication with the core commercial teams and should be able to explain detailed technical solutions in terms that are understandable to a wider audience to achieve broader acceptance and adoption.
The selected candidate will represent Digital in corporate cross-divisional projects to provide requirements and development input to meet the overall company needs.
The General Manager leads a highly skilled team, tasked with the successful design, testing and implementation of systems enhancements in cooperation with commercial and IT organizations.
Responsibilities:

years of experience in commercial or technical roles that involve development and evaluation of optimization models, decision support systems, and/or process improvement.
Excellent communication skills and ability to advocate for enterprise goalsDemonstrated ability to handle multiple projects through design, development, implementation and training stagesMust be performing satisfactorily in current roleDevelops both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.
