JOB PURPOSE:
Coordinates and advances quality & process improvement projects involving plan development, evidence-based practice research, benchmarking, operational feasibility analysis, financial modeling, statistical analysis, and program implementation for Piedmont Healthcare. Assignments entail a high degree of autonomy to interact with Executive Management, Medical Staff, various levels of the organization and external individuals and organizations. Coordinates all resources assigned to specific project efforts and additional duties as assigned.KEY
Responsibilities:
1. Supports the development, prioritization and execution of performance improvement projects utilizing LEAN/Six Sigma or similar methodologies for all process improvements and related sustainability.2. Maps key processes and implements value stream analysis (LEAN) to reduce waste, inefficiencies and downtime.3. Develops Decision Support tools, including MIS, dashboards, Balanced Scorecards and drill-down/roll-up type reporting.4. Assist Executive Directors and project teams in data collection & analysis, data visualization, as well as preparing regular status updates and progress reports for various Quality and Process Improvement projects5. In partnership with Executive Director and project teams, supports implementation of improvement plans and development of process analysis/design following Piedmonts quality and process improvement roadmap.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIESSkill and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in-writing.Skill and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.Ability to work as a member of a team.Skill and ability in Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree from a recognized college or university in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Statistics, Health Systems, or a closely related field is required. Masters degree is preferred.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One year of responsible professional work experience in health care management, health services planning, or a closely related field is required with a strong emphasis in statistical analysis.MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.ADDITIONAL
Qualifications:
Proficient in statistical methods such as Hypothesis testing, linear regression analysis, statistical process control is highly preferred. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio (or other flowcharting application) is required. Ability to discern the sensitivity of information and materials in order to preserve confidentiality is required. Superior written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present ideas in a clear and compelling manner are requested. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
