Job Description:
Performs duties related to preparing linen for use in the hospital, including inventory maintenance, folding, exchange cart preparation, and delivery.
May assist in separating soiled linens and inspecting them for defects and removing debris.
Follows infection control and universal precaution procedures.
Loads linens into machines and distributes when clean.
Maintains assigned work areas and supplies.
Follows established procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other applicable federal and state regulations.
Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions.
The ability to lift up to 25 pounds and to stoop, bend, and twist.
