You will work closely with senior leaders, business partners, vendors and other stakeholders to curate exceptional events and meetings that exceed expectations and leave a lasting impression.

What You'll Do
You'll help plan, execute and manage a variety of events, meetings and additional projects. Here's what that'll look like:
  • Working on small meetings and events for a variety of clients simultaneously.
  • Managing and coordinating all elements of meeting planning, including choosing venues, negotiating with vendors, registering attendees, preparing detailed documents for events and reporting on outcomes.
  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships with meeting hosts.
  • Establishing and maintaining professional rapport with vendors to negotiate optimal savings and benefits.
  • Collaborating with venues and internal business partners to ensure the appropriate meeting space and/or breakout rooms, meeting set-up, food and beverage, audio visual and other needs are arranged.
  • Working consistently in event software (Cvent) to capture event details, from preparing estimates to inputting final costs.
  • Creating and analyzing online evaluations and preparing post-event reports.
  • Travel: 15% of the time.

Minimum:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years of corporate meeting experience. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and up to 2 years of experience; or 6 years' experience in a related field.
  • Must have experience using Cvent online registration system.
  • Experience producing high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience negotiating and building partnerships with vendors.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills; you enjoy working with the public.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks and pay attention to detail.
  • Travel: 15% of the time.

Preferred:
  • Degree in hospitality.

USD 58,400.00 - 87,600.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $58,400.00 - $87,600.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
