Our industry niches include manufacturing/distribution, real estate, construction, technology, transportation, private equity, financial services, staffing and professional service firms.Business Assurance Director (Real Estate) is responsible for a wide range of assignments including, but not limited to:Overseeing complex audits and reviewing audit documentation as well as other Assurance engagements.Training and supervising professional team members.Reviewing financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with GAAPPerforming technical research and applying it to client situationsAssisting Partners with consulting projects.RequirementsThe successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:8-10 years experience in the business assurance/audit side of public accountingExpertise in the Real Estate industryExperience overseeing Audit engagements, leading a team of professionals, and reviewing work papers and financial statementsWell-rounded knowledge of audit and accounting principlesCurrent CPA license requiredProficient with Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite productsProficiency with CCH Pro fx Engagement and IDEA, software is a plusClient service orientedConsultative ApproachTeam playerSelf-Directed, Autonomous, MotivatedEntrepreneurial spirited and ambitiousExceptional and proactive communicator (verbal & written)What We Can Offer YouWe are dedicated to the well-being of our employees and are proud to be consistently recognized as one of Atlanta's Best Places to Work.
