Position SummaryThe position will oversee a multi-client, multi-facility portfolio of properties, as well as provide technical and engineering support for the business unit. The Engineering Manager will lead, manage, direct, and be responsible for the profitability of assigned projects within the Facility Management business unit, ensuring the delivery of services per contractual guidelines. As a member of the management team, this position will actively participate in strategic and tactical functions related to reliability of client facilities, profitability, business and development and industry leading standards.Essential Job Functions The implementation and delivery of all client maintenance programs, serving as the senior project manager for all projects and service contracts within the assigned area of responsibility. Performing condition assessments of facilities to include life cycle analysis and capital budgeting. Auditing and analyzing maintenance program performance and formulating corrective actions when necessary to achieve contract compliance, customer satisfaction and profit plans. The development and implementation of an effective Asset Management Program for all accounts. Managing assigned operations personnel consistent with the CGL Facility Management culture, focusing on safety, quality, goal-setting, performance management, career development; and attracting, developing, and retaining a high-performance workforce. Assists in developing and implementing local team strategies and action plans consistent with the strategies, goals and objectives of the FM business unit and the client. Provides regular feedback to the Director of Operations and Engineering and client on progress made towards achieving these plans and targets. Develop and support short, intermediate, and long range plans, programs, and strategies for FM business unit operations management, consistent with the site operating plan and business unit's goals and objectives. Maintain document compliance with all Federal, State and Local OSHA, EPA, other governing agencies. Maintain trade contact and participates in functions within industry and market associations. Other duties as assigned by Director of Operations and Engineering. Experience and Qualifications Four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university (required). Professional state engineering license (preferred). Current trade license in HVAC or plumbing (preferred). Have 5-7 years of technical operations management experience in facility systems and/or the service industry to include mechanical/electrical maintenance functions, facility condition assessments, or MEP design (required). Be willing and able to travel more than 50% (required). Advanced knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) codes and regulations. Be an excellent verbal and written communicator. Able to establish and maintain effective relationships with our employees and clients. Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, internet, etc.). Must have a valid driver's license and insurance. Perform work outside in all weather conditions and perform physical work, as well as to lift weights of up to 50 pounds regularly and above 50 pounds occasionally. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
