Yoh has a contract opportunity for an Analyst role with our client in the entertainment industry located in Atlanta, GA.

  • 7-Months (with the possibility of extension)
  • Pay Rate:
    $32.00 - $35.00/hr. DOE
  • Hybrid (bust work 3 days per week in Atlanta)

Overview:

The Analyst will be responsible for leveraging a variety of research resources across media (linear and non-linear platforms) to provide data driven intelligence and consumer insights in support of content strategy, marketing initiatives, competitive analysis and more.
This position supports the US Networks Research Director along with the full US Networks team, and requires someone who is innovative, solutions-oriented and enjoys improving processes.

Roles &
Responsibilities:


  • Provide research support and recommendations, with the help of the team, for Senior Executives and other business groups.
  • Provide expertise on competitive trends and the changing television landscape with ad-hoc reports on landscape and competitive viewing.
  • Assist in production of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting needs for the brands, as well as competitive networks, across linear and streaming.
  • Interface with teams across the company including Research, Finance, Strategy, Marketing, Digital, and more to answer brand-impacting questions with speed, insight, and accuracy.
  • Communicate data and insights in meetings, strategy sessions, emails, and presentations.
  • Develop creative approaches to uncover consumer insights and marketplace trends to inform company strategy.



Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 1 to 1.5 years relevant work experience in Media Research, Market Research, Consumer Insight, or related field.
  • Knowledge of Nielsen data and systems; Npower, Star Media, Lake5; ComScore, NNTV a plus.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics a plus.
  • Experience with survey design, programming, and analysis a plus.
  • Solid research, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to synthesize information and research data to tell a story with action-oriented implications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment without sacrificing accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong interest in understanding consumer behavior, TV, media, and/or entertainment industries.
  • Team player; must be able to work independently yet take direction well when necessary.
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Minimum of a BS or BA degree required.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
