Psychiatrist (Board Certified) Hourly

The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Hourly Psychiatrist at Georgia Regional Hospital - Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA.
Candidates should be Board Certified in Psychiatry with a career interest and/or experience in public hospital psychiatry. In conjunction with a comprehensive treatment team the Psychiatrist addresses the clinical needs of Adult and Forensic consumers, and provide emergent assessment and treatment to patients during off hours. Provides comprehensive medical services by examining patients, diagnosing conditions and providing treatment for individuals brought into Admissions. Psychiatrist will also review referrals received from outside facilities to screen for appropriateness for admission to GRH/Atlanta. Also provides medical care to inpatients when needed. The hours vary from 5:
30p to midnight and/or 8a-8p or 8p-8a and include weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
Experience in treating persons with serious and persistent mental illnesses, and in providing care as leader and member of an interdisciplinary treatment team
Experience working with consumers in adult mental health, addictive disease, forensic psychiatry
Completed Residency in Psychiatry
Board Certified as a practicing Psychiatrist.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
