As a Power BI Developer / Data Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Power BI. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and create actionable insights to support business decision-making. Additionally, you will collaborate with IT to ensure the availability and accuracy of data for reporting purposes. This role requires a combination of technical expertise in Power BI, data analysis skills, and strong communication abilities.Key
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain interactive visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Power BI. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure data quality, integrity, and availability for reporting purposes. Design and implement data models, data transformations, and calculations to support reporting needs. Understand and contribute to the maintenance of data pipeline/data sources using SQL and Snowflake. Conduct thorough data analysis to identify data quality issues, anomalies, and discrepancies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for reporting. Analyze complex datasets and identify trends, patterns, and insights to drive business decisions. Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends. Provide training and support to end-users on utilizing Power BI reports and dashboards effectively. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data sources, report performance, and visualization accuracy. Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, Data Analyst, or similar role. Strong proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modeling. Solid understanding of data analysis techniques, statistical concepts, and data visualization principles. Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation. Experience with data visualization tools and techniques beyond Power BI is a plus (e.g., QlikView, Sisense etc.). Familiarity with Snowflake / data warehousing concepts and data integration techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insights. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and present findings to non-technical audiences. Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
