florida
, southern
georgia
,
mississippi
, and
alabama
. The other territory will cover northern Georgia,
north carolina
, and
south carolina
. The client is a privately, owned company who has been in business 60+ years. This is a full-time, direct hire
position
.
The position is responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of the Company?s
services
and products in order to promote said services to current and potential customers.
The essential
job
functions include, but are not limited to:
Develop a new territory by promoting all products and services.
Recommend and implement sales strategies to successfully capture the available market in electrical motor
repair
, engineering services, systems integration, control, and new equipment sales.
Work with various staff to build standards and central equipment, product and customer libraries.
Develop and improve marketing brochures for underground markets.
Monitor customer satisfaction and take appropriate action when necessary.
Maintain close relationship with motor, controls, and automation vendors in order to keep up with latest developments.
The position requirements are:
College preferred.
Minimum three to five years related experience in industrial related sales preferably with motors, drives, systems integration, and automation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Good
computer
skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc.
Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with customers and co-workers.
Ability to promote a positive company image at all times.
Ability to work without supervision.
Ability to maintain confidentiality when processing sensitive information.
Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division including understanding fractions and percentages.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple to complex written and verbal instructions.
Ability to understand, perform, and retain various job related training, operational, and safety procedures.
Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and decision making related to routine duties within set company standards.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
