Iteration Manager - Agile Iteration Manager (Agile) who works closely with software development teams, release management and business partners to insure the iteration and release process runs smoothly. The role is responsible for organizing story cards and ensuring effective workflow management. The IM works with product teams to manage product backlog, prioritize cards prior to the iteration, and communicate status across teams during the iteration. Superior communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work across the organization, excellent analytical and organization skills, a professional demeanor and the ability to participate in a team environment are keys to this position. This role requires a thorough understanding of business functions and processes, broad knowledge of leading technologies, an in-depth understanding of the organization's technology portfolio. The successful candidate we seek must have a demonstrable track record of achieving success in a dynamic, fast-paced start up environment. Responsibilities (including but not limited to): - Facilitate Iteration Planning Meetings, Retrospectives and Daily Standups - Work directly with Business and IT management to prioritize cards for each iteration and release - Track development velocity and manage iteration capacity - Manage high-level budgeting and time tracking - Closely track iteration progress across teams and monitor status for business partners resolve blocking issues as necessary - Coordination of activities with Release Management to ensure successful delivery of iterations and deployments - Coordinate dependencies between teams with other Iteration Managers - Remove roadblocks for the entire development team - Work with Development managers to manage team capacity - Ensure development team is working effectively towards iteration goals Qualifications Required: - 3 years experience with one or more Agile development methodologies (ie XP, etc.) - 7 years project management or analysis experience - Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Systems or Engineering; or equivalent work experience - Demonstrated experience working in and leading teams that leverage Test Driven Development, Pair Programming and Continuous Integration - A detail oriented disposition and clear concise communication skills are a must - Creative, resourceful and innovative problem solver - Data driven analysis skills for measuring and managing delivery - Experience with relevant business software eg Microsoft Office applications Significant plus: - Familiarity with Agile project management tools like Mingle, etc. - Mobile (Android/iOS) experience a plus. - Managing Ruby developers is a plus Our client is a well funded start-up technology company in Atlanta focused on helping marketplace participants identify, communicate and transact with trading partners. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
