The Business Systems Analyst II-SAP (APO DP) is responsible for a full range of activities working with IT, business partners and third party stakeholders. A BA II-SAP manages 1 or more projects with a high degree of complexity and scope. This
position
is required to understand, translate, and document complex business requirements to enable design, development, and implementation of IT solutions.
The Business Systems Analyst II-SAP will work with a variety of technologies, applications and systems while supporting the Demand Planning Business Strategies, Systems, and Business Partners.
Key Duties/
Responsibilities:
The Business Systems Analyst II-SAP Key Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
o Manage projects to ensure timely and accurate execution
o Implement and execute disciplined project management routines that drive quality results
o Complete project documents required for SDLC compliance or approval
o Manage project budgets and rolling estimates
o Share Knowledge and Partner with business project leader to jointly deliver the solution
o Maintain positive and trusted working relationships with all business and internal stakeholders
o Partner with business clients to understand their IT needs
o Organize and lead requirement gathering workshops and document business requirements
o Serve as a subject matter expert in multiple business process and/or application areas
o Understand and leverage industry best practices
o Prepare Functional Specifications and Design documents
o Perform system configuration or administration
o Define system controls and security requirements aligned with company standards
o Serve as liaison between users, vendors, and technical groups to resolve complex issues
o Build test plans, Use and Test Cases and perform system testing utilizing these tools
o Lead, plan and execute User Acceptance Testing and obtain user sign-off
o Evaluate new releases of software from vendors for System and Business Benefit
o Communicate and reinforce standard business process concepts and methodologies
o Address needs and recommend business process system solutions or process enhancements in all areas of Demand Planning

o Proficient people and project management, including proven ability to successfully lead projects through the system development lifecycle methodology
o Demonstrated ability to identify risks and develop mitigation plans
o Excellent verbal and written communication and presentations skills
o Proficient at prioritizing tasks and directing resources accordingly
o Demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between information technology and business clients
o Proficient at developing and managing effective working relationships within an organization and across multiple business and IT stakeholders
o Proficient in utilizing common project management tools - MS Project, Excel, Visio, SharePoint etc.
o Proficient at developing and managing project budgets and rolling estimates
o Proficient at leading and facilitating group meetings to drive desirable outcomes and decisions
o Makes effective decisions in a timely manner and escalates issues as appropriate
o Understanding of information technology systems, standards, and architecture
o Proficient in SAP APO Demand Planning Application
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems,
computer
Science, or related field required
PMP and/or BA Certified or equivalent experience preferred
Professional Experience Required:
o Experience managing multiple projects with a high degree of complexity and scope
o Multiple implementations experience with leadership accountability for multiple functional areas
o 5 or more years of Business Analyst experience as a functional SAP APO Business Analyst managing IT projects, processes, and/or work streams.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
