Human Resource Dimensions has been engaged to place a Regional HR
manager
- Southwest for a client in Atlanta, GA.
This Regional HR Manager will report to the VPHR and will be responsible for the southeastern business operations. This will include aligning the business objectives with the field management and corporate human resources; the HR Manager seeks to develop integrated solutions for the organization.
Responsibilities Include:
Advise operational leaders, HR team members and management in the southeast region on all HR matters
Advise management and labor union officials on labor relation issues.
Participate in labor negotiations and arbitration hearings. Implement and communicate associate bargaining agreements.
Oversee execution of organizational or program policies and procedures, benefits, compensation plans, performance management, etc.
Compile data and provide reports for management using various HR systems and tools.
Conduct site HR audits insuring facilities adherence to the appropriate record keeping guidelines and HR procedures.
Lead human resources communication programs throughout the region.
Lead recruiting efforts for General Manager, regional support positions, and other specialty roles as needed. Ensure all facilities are following recruiting processes and compliance guidelines, including
community
outreach activities.
Recommend improvements to work methods or procedures.
Resolve associate and /or management conflicts, problems or grievances, utilizing strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
Provide backup support for site level HR Representatives as needed.
Participates in special projects and acts as a member of various project committees as needed.
Requirements Include:
Bachelor's degree

years Human Resources experience with at least 5 years spent in a Regional HR role with a distribution, warehousing or manufacturing organization.
Human Resources Professional (PHR) preferred.
Possess strong knowledge of employment laws and experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including formal and legal responses.
Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to create and affect change.
Must have very strong customer service orientation with high sense of urgency in meeting objectives and deadlines.
Strong mediation and negotiation skills.
Must be able to uphold confidentiality at all times.
Prior labor relations experience required
Travel estimated 50%
Local candidates are preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
