We have a permanent opportunity with an enterprise client of ours located in Sandy Springs. They are seeking a creative Sr. Linux Engineer to help innovate, architect, and design a large Amazon Web
services
(AWS) cloud initiative. This individual will also be responsible for deploying open source technologies, automation, and heavy scripting while working within a Dev Ops methodology framework.
They are searching for a Sr. Linux Engineer who is interested in working with different open source tools and software such as python, ruby, puppet, or
chef
. In this
position
, you will be working on cutting edge Infrastructure Automation projects utilizing Puppet/Chef and utilizing heavy scripting to ease redundant tasks.
This is a direct permanent opportunity with compensation ranging from $110,000 -$120,000 + full medical, dental, vision, 401K matching, PTO, etc.
We are seeking talented individuals with the following experience:
Design, installation, and deployment experience utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) EC2
Extensive background in Linux/Unix engineering (RHEL, Ubuntu, Centos)
Experience with systems automation and configuration management utilizing Puppet/Chef, Satellite, Kickstart, etc.
Strong scripting skills, preferably with Bash, Shell, Ruby, and Python
