Our client, a leader in chemical industry is seeking a Formulation Chemist near Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities of the Formulation Chemist:
Perform lab work to improve product & resolve customer problems
Help design and test solid and liquid fertilizer
Collaborate with product line manager to develop formulations and products
Requirements of the Formulation Chemist:
2+ years experience in fertilizer or crop protection chemical company with analytical chemistry experience
Bachelor's degree in Life Science OR Chemical Engineering from accredited institution
Strong knowledge of fertilizers
Capable of blending crop protection chemicals
Master's degree in Chemistry preferred
Familiarity blending with crop protection chemicals preferred
Travel: up to 50%
Salary dependent on experience.
