Large, stable, and rapidly growing international Telecommunications company has an exceptional career opportunity for a Quality and Environmental, Health, and Safety Director in the Atlanta area. The successful candidates will be primarily responsible for development and implementation of Quality and EH&S Systems. Functional areas include managing internal/requirement audits, supplier audits, document/record control and validations, and CAPA's to ensure compliance. The incumbent will serve as a leader and change-agent, supporting multi-disciplinary functions in meeting quality and safety standards as well as regulatory compliance requirements impacting companywide business initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Craft and foster a strong Quality and EH&S Culture to support overall objective of high quality productivity, lower risk and improve employee morale. Develop through a collaborative effort with Turf Market management a successful Quality and EH&S System. Work with Turf Market Directors to ensure that Quality and EH&S activities are incorporated effectively into project plans.
Responsible for developing and improving procedures and standards in the Quality Management System; be a strong leader and independently motivated change agent ensuring the highest quality in relation to industry standards.
Author and develop with Human Resources an employee and market incentive based Quality and EH&S accountability/reward plan. Regulate appropriate actions to reduce rework, prevent lost time, and mitigate risk in accordance to company's Quality and EH&S accountability/reward plan.
Collaborate with Business Development, Contracts and Procurement, and Turf Markets to ensure customers are provided the necessary EH&S documentation in a timely manner for customers' vendor certification processes.
Act as the company liaison with regulatory agencies, customers, insurance policy holders and other outside parties as the Quality and EH&S representative.
Develop and implement a phased Quality Control/Assurance and EH&S Program with defined metrics, a series of continuous process improvement steps, and program milestones to create an effective Quality and EH&S System.
Responsible for scoping, designing, and leading the collaboration with company's insurance policy holders for improving Risk Management / Loss Prevention programs.
Insure all company's Quality and EH&S System Programs, Processes, Procedures, Tools, and Documents are in compliance with all contractual customers' requirements and regulatory agencies' rules, regulations, and laws
Improve customer relations by implementing an effective Quality Assurance and EH&S Turf Market Audit program to ensure contractual obligations. Collect Audit results and support Turf Markets to ensure customers' requirements are met and assuring acceptable Third Party Audit scores.
Conduct and lead Corporate/Head Quarter Quality and EH&S meetings with executive management to identify Quality problems and EH&S risks, system milestones, interpret statistical data, and track progress with a newly implemented Quality and EH&S System.Interface effectively with senior level management, escalating issues appropriately and making recommendations regarding Quality and EH&S Policy & Procedure.
Assess and develop Quality and EH&S job descriptions and the experience criteria needed to assure an effective Quality and EH&S System. Fill open staff vacancies, schedule interviews, and follow established company policies for Quality and EH&S System requirements.
Mentor, lead, and direct Quality and EH&S staff, operations, senior level management, and subcontractors in Quality Control/Assurance and EH&S Policy. Facilitate and develop a Quality Control and EH&S training for company, subcontractors, and any parties required to participate to ensure achievement of exceptional Quality and EH&S performance including developing training content and delivering course information.
Create, revise, and/or improve existing Quality Control/Assurance and EH&S documents and procedures to support the new Quality and EH&S Culture by using the support of the Operations, IT, and Finance Departments.Author new Quality and EH&S related documentation, procedures, and processes to effectively improve customer, regulatory, and insurance reporting and communications in a timely and accurate manner.
Develop an efficient Vendor/Subcontractor Qualification Assessment program in collaboration with Contracts and Procurement, to ensure all Quality and EH&S, customer, and regulatory agency requirements are met.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
