Business Development Executive

My client is a top global forwarding/3PL provider.
They are actively expanding and develping their sales force due to growth and promotions.
Skills required are as follows:
3+ years of international freight sales experience
proven track record in closing and developing new business
Responsible for retention of new and existing accounts
Generating profit for the branch
Generalist knowledge about verticles I.e life science, retail, pereshibles etc.
You will report directly to the branch manager and will be required to report into the office once a week and for sales meetings.
4 days of the week you will be actively following leads, generating leads and bringing on and servicing new and exsting accoutns. You will inherit some account but to grow them further will be essential.
You may also be required to mentor some existing sales team and to train new memebers of the sales staff.
The patch covered will be mainly tri/quad state.
The package will be with a car allowance, healthcare and a generous commission structure.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
