This position leads the development, implementation and measurement of all Revenue Management activities ensuring multi-property execution of the rate & inventory management, the reservations sales process, adherence to policies, and development of strategies that optimize revenue capture from existing demand via all distribution channels. (10
properties across multiple brands)
Requirements include: minimum of 3
years multi-property, multi-brand, and multi-market experience with focus on revenue management and a preference with e-commerce experience with a proven ability to contribute to the achievement of revenue goals through the management/leadership, mix of sales, e-marketing programs, tactical promotions and other initiatives, drive revenue through electronic channels/marketing to increase share on all available online distribution channels
Additionally, this position trains and consults with hotels to fully utilize available tools and systems to maximize revenue. Responsible for the continual development, implementation and monitoring of sales strategies through the collection of historical & current data and future trends to assist with pricing and restriction placement.
Must have prior measurable success in developing and implementing revenue management data collection, reporting, training and communication.
Should have strong proven forecasting skills and have the ability to maintain 97% forecasting accuracy in both rooms sold and average rate, with respect to market segments and goals.
Understand Total Hotel Revenue Management concept and develop tools going forward with Regional Director of Revenue Management team for future growth. Communicates the weekly, monthly and year end forecasts to include the seasonal fluctuations within each segment. Assists in developing the annual budget to meet/exceed portfolio goals. Analyzes individual hotel's market potential using STR & other performance-based reporting, demand analysis, and other sources. Savvy
computer
skills are required, with heavy emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
Demonstrated ability to influence corporate, regional, and property level managers and help execute ideas that will advance the development and acceptance of new sales and marketing tools. Prior success developing and implementing revenue management data collection, analysis, reporting and communication is required, as well as strong forecasting skills. Solid in-depth working knowledge of Hyatt and Marriott REQUIRED, with additional Hilton and Starwood brand-related CRS, RMS and PMS systems, preferred.
40-60% travel or more will be required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
