Senior SQL Server DBA

We are seeking a Senior Microsoft SQL Server DBA. The Senior DBA will be working with another DBA and our Engineering team to support, enhance, and scale our web based systems. The Senior DBA will be integral to the design, development, implementation and maintenance of all databases, reporting solutions and data warehouses in production as well as our back office infrastructure
Responsibilities:
o Install, configure, secure, optimize, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server instances including SSAS and SSRS components
o Monitor production databases and related systems to identify capacity and performance issues
o Work with engineering and other administrators to develop and implement performance and capacity remediation plans
o Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced administrators and developers
o Maintain and enhance data recovery process, ETL processes, and cube deployment processes
Qualifications:
o 7
years of SQL Database Administration (2005, 2008/2008 R2, and 2012)
o At least 5
years TSQL development and troubleshooting experience
o 3
years of experience with ETL and SSAS (Development and Support)
o 3
years of experience with SSIS and SSRS
o SQL clustering/HA configurations knowledge
o Experience of working in a production environment (database supports 24x7 Web based nationwide application)
o Experience in Large scale/Volume SQL configurations (Maintenance, Backup & Recovery etc.)
Preferred Experience and Qualities
o Dynamic Table Partitioning/Splitting experience also desired
o Knowledge in database monitoring tools like SQL Sentry, Spotlight, RedGate, etc. is a plus
o Excellent communication and documentation skills
o Will be required to interact with multiple departments (Development, Operations, Finance, etc)
o Proven ability to work to and meet strict project timelines

Bachelor's degree or applicable work experience and/or accredited certifications.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
