Senior Trial Attorney
Duties: Provides assistance to the company's claims organization. The scope of this job is to answer and file pleadings, direct discovery, attend and conduct depositions lay and expert witnesses, attend pretrial and settlement conferences, attend and conduct trials in courts of limited jurisdiction, arbitration and jury trials in more complicated cases. Will be responsible for timely filing of pleadings and motions. Attendance of all court required appearances. Proactive completion of discovery as the case may require, i.e. interrogatories, request for production of documents, and conduct depositions. Litigation of arbitrations and trials. Timely reporting to claim partners of the development of case and coordinating plans for the defense of the case. Handling subrogation matters.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
