Staffing Coordinator (EMS)

In accordance with the Grady Health System Policies & Procedures and the EMS operations manual, to coordinate and process all aspects of field staff shifts scheduling, special events, new employees, students and other approved 3rd riders. Will be held accountable for exemplifying excellent service behavior and timely responsiveness to co-workers, patients, clients, visitors, physicians and vendors. Utilizes the division's Information System and other computer software programs for data entry. Prepares reports, written correspondence, forms, payroll and schedules employees. Schedules appointments, orders supplies, assists with clerical duties as needed.
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of two years experience in scheduling various shifts for a staff of 200 + employees preferred
Two years payroll experience preferred
Must be able to type a minimum of 30 words per minute with minimum 95% accuracy
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office, Excel, word processing, spreadsheets and database computer software
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
Possess excellent customer service skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
