Graphic Designer
Brown and Caldwell, a national environmental engineering and consulting firm, has an opportunity for a full time Graphic Designer. This position can be based in our Atlanta, GA, Cleveland or Columbus, OH or St. Paul, MN offices. We are actively seeking a self-motivated and creative professional with proven layout and typography skills, and the ability to work with brand standards to deliver design solutions, often under tight deadlines. The designer partners with senior graphic artists, marketers, and technical staff to provide layout; and to develop informational graphics for proposals, presentations, collateral, technical reports, and general communications. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a growing professional consulting office.
Responsibilities:
Support or lead document layout and design for proposals and deliverables.
Support layout revisions and edits for pursuits and deliverables.
Review final layouts and suggest improvements, as needed.
Work closely with senior design staff, marketing staff and/or technical staff to execute design.
Develop graphics, slide layout and animations for pursuit interview and conference presentations.
Follow pursuit process.
Implement company brand standards on all projects.
Stay in close communication with client on schedule, revisions, and graphic needs through project completion.
Prepare and communicate instruction for final assembly and print preparation both internally and with external vendors.
Maintain archive of images, photos and previous work products.
Work within a network of designers, providing support as needed and sharing best products, knowledge and expertise.
Create graphics or make changes to existing graphics.
Effectively manage and prioritize multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Some travel may be required.
Position Requirements:
3
years of related design experience
AEC Industry experience a plus
Relevant portfolio
BA/BS in graphic design, related field, or equivalent work experience
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
Experience in PowerPoint
Experience developing visual messaging and informational graphics
