Social Media Specialist

JOB PURPOSE:
The Social Media Specialist will oversee all social media strategy and initiatives across multiple social channels to drive engagement, loyalty/retention, and ultimately leads across all Piedmont Healthcare brands and products.
KEY
Responsibilities:
1. Works with all Piedmont brands to leverage social media in order to enhance campaign performance, build brand awareness, and leverage brand advocates
2. Oversee social media activities and manage all social channels including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google , etc.
3. Identify social media campaign opportunities to grow following and engage current audience
4. Apply marketing research and development methods to learn and understand emerging trends and technologies and to communicate this knowledge clearly and concisely.
5. Develop social strategies for service line campaigns and the four service lines of focus (i.e., heart, cancer, transplant, and neuro)
6. Create yearly and monthly social editorial calendars based on marketing campaigns.
a. Daily Living Better posts on Facebook page.
b. Identify current events and special recognition days and/or request content from entities for post on Facebook page to ensure site does not get stale.
7. Manage budget for social promotion
8. Control promoted posts; engage/participate in industry chats quarterly or as appropriate; and identify industry influencers and monitor social sites daily for complaints
9. Support analytics requests, and compile monthly reports for marketing team and for PHC Board of Directors showing number of proactive and reactive media placements achieved by PR team.
10. Collaborate across the organization at all levels, in particular with strategy, creative, development, account and project management
11. Think out of the box and make recommendations for compelling social media content that will help clients achieve stated goals
12. Reporting distribute, each weekday, the traditional and social media report created by freelancer as well as create and distribute the weekly social media report.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
A Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations or Business
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
3 to 5 years' experience in development and execution of social media strategies
Must be a digital native, with strong command of social media and content marketing disciplines
Demonstrated experience with social technology (i.e., including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Foursquare, Flickr, blogs, wikis, RSS, social bookmarking, discussion forums and community software).
Experience with online monitoring and measurement platforms including, but not limited to: Omniture, Facebook Insights, YouTube Insights, Google Analytics, Hoot Suite, TweetDeck and Social Mention.
Prior healthcare experience is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Strong interpersonal skills, able to motivate and drive collaboration with other departments and organizations without direct authority over those groups
Ability to leverage resources both internally and externally to drive business performance
Knowledge and ability to produce high quality, verbal and written communications.
Knowledge of graphic design best practices and principles for web projects.
Strong technical background to include knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to Think out of the box and make recommendations for compelling social media content that will help clients achieve stated goals
Ability to work independently, as well as a member of a team.
Ability to work effectively under deadlines and juggle several projects simultaneously.
A solid understanding of ethical search engine optimization techniques.
Demonstrated experience with social technology (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Foursquare, Flickr, blogs, wikis, RSS, social bookmarking, discussion forums and community software).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
