Professional Services Consultant III
Overview:
We are looking for Project Managers for our Sage X3 practice. You will provide consulting support throughout the product implementation process. You will be responsible for updating management or vendors and preparing reports on project status as needed. Your responsibilities can range from delivery of business analysis and implementation to arranging for development and delivery of customer modifications. When working in a Project Management capacity you ensure implementation deadlines are met and assist with scheduling issues and addressing implementation hurdles. When working on development issues or modifications your responsibilities include ensuring that the design, development, testing, documentation, and installation of custom modifications requested by business partners, customers or management are well executed. You will also be responsible for overseeing customer business process re-engineering consulting, application installation and implementation, customer testing, data conversion, custom report writing and third party product integration services.
Responsibilities:
Serves as Project Manager for client Sage X3 implementations, leading project teams in defining, planning, and implementing the Sage X3 solution
Utilizes consultative skills to identify customer pain points as well as develop and manage statements of work
Meets with the business user community as directed, to discuss the requirements for necessary information needed to design/configure new systems
Translates loosely defined business problems into a set of objective, concise and logical requirements.
Assists client in documenting business unit workflows, clarifying and confirming the specifications
Updates and manages project timelines, meets with project team and client representatives as needed to communicate status
Identifies risks provides analysis and contingency planning
Develops deep client relationships at all management levels and builds client confidence
Focuses on customer satisfaction, service delivery quality and financial profitability
Schedules staff to deliver installation and configuration of Sage product offerings
Utilizes broad range of management skills to verify analysis and implementation of highly customized solutions
Ensures that data conversions, and the creation of utilities and complex
Acquires, maintains, and expands knowledge of relevant product offerings, current professional services policies, and methods of project management, in order to provide business solutions to customers
Provides leadership in conducting and coordinating customer meetings and communications during the implementation process
Works with customers to achieve the best solutions for customer to maximize product use benefits, and functionality
Qualifications:

years Project Management/Consulting experience implementing or supporting mid-market ERP software solutions required
BS Degree or equivalent technical training/experience in Accounting or Computer Science, Information Science, Computer/Systems Engineering, or Math.
Knowledge and understanding of common mid-market business processes, as well as methodologies and delivery processes to develop and implement solutions addressing complex business issues of mid-market customers required
Superior organizational skills able to self-manage assignments, travel arrangements, expense reports, evaluation forms, etc. required
Ability to successfully multitask and prioritize job requirements while remaining very detail oriented
Strong communication including written and presentations , active listening, relationship building, and negotiations skills required
Ability to travel up to 60-70% required
Knowledge of Sage products strongly desired especially Sage ERP X3
