Child Psychologist
Marcus Autism Center, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University School of Medicine are recruiting a full-time child psychologist. The psychologist will play a central role in the implementation of parent training in the outpatient service at Marcus and join the clinical trial research team. The position will also include assessments of young children with autism spectrum disorder. The successful applicant will be offered an academic appointment in the Department of Pediatrics with rank commensurate with the applicant's experience.
Marcus Autism Center is a not-for-profit organization that is part of Children's Health Care of Atlanta and the Department of Pediatrics, Emory University School of Medicine. As one of the largest autism clinical centers in the U.S., Marcus Autism Center assesses and treats up to 5,000 children with autism and related disorders a year. The research portfolio of the Marcus Autism is also expanding. The Marcus Center is one of three National Institutes of Health Autism Centers of Excellence and part of several federally-funded clinical trial networks. With the help of research grants, community and philanthropic support, and government funding, Marcus Autism Center aims to promote the full potential of children with autism today and transform the nature of autism for future generations.
