Elavon, Inc. is hiring an Application Developer in Atlanta, GA. Duties:
Research, develop, test, implement and support customer-centered application systems; Participate in change impact analysis and defining project tasks; Create comprehensive unit test plans; Design, code, test, debug, document, maintain and modify computer programs and applications; Investigate, analyze and resolve technical problems related to system functions, programming and procedures.

Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Digital Media, Software Engineering or a related discipline plus 6 months of experience with the following:
conducting user & market research; applying human sciences and research methods to digital media and software product experience design; software design; and applying design methodologies to public policy proposals. Must have course work in Principles of Interaction Design (IxD); Human-Computer-Interaction (HCI); and Psychology research methods for HCI or digital media. All experience may be gained concurrently. Employer will accept full time or part time experience. Telecommuting may be available. Employer will accept any level of coursework.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
