Marketing Production Manager

Responsibilities
Summary:
We are looking for a natural-born leader to join our Marketing Operations team and direct all packaging initiatives. Candidates must have a passion for both packaging and project management, able to effectively juggle and prioritize tasks, and work in a fast paced creative environment with constantly changing demands.
This position will be responsible for organizing, facilitating and coordinating all packaging projects, supporting the overall marketing strategy.
FUNCTIONAL
Responsibilities:
Project manage packaging and other print initiatives to ensure deliveries are met
Build and drive timelines per project
Own print and packaging trim supplier relationships
Analyze weekly WIP reports from suppliers
Obtain and analyze packaging cost sheets
Negotiate cost to assist in achieving margin goals
Develop and maintain production quality milestones
Own print production samples
Invoice/budget tracking for development and production
Own PLM maintenance
Creating and maintaining packaging BOMs
Creating and maintaining packaging components in Component Master
Digital Assets management
Main contact for Production, Merchandising, and Tech Design teams as it relates to packaging
Test garments in packaging for correct fit and folding method
Develop packaging presentation guides
Partner with design on package structural development
Own translation process and translation suppler relationships
Qualifications
EDUCATION/
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in related field
5
years' experience in managing projects in a marketing or product development environment
Garment packaging and structure development experience a plus
Qualifications:
Highly motivated team player with outstanding organizational and problem solving ability
Strong attention to details
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in MS Office including, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of printing industry, graphic arts, printing methods, and production techniques
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Mac) is a plus
