Overview
This is a dual role comprising a 50% allocation to the Atlanta AC Program and 50% to North America Marketing.
The Associate Consultant (AC) Program and Marketing Manager will assume primary responsibility for the assignment, deployment and professional development of ACs in accordance with Bain policies and protocols. In addition, the second primary responsibility will involve the design and implementation of the local Bain office's marketing strategy, including client development support and local alumni programs, under limited supervision of the North American Marketing Director and local office Marketing Partner.

Staffing:
Coordinate with case team leadership to understand staffing needs, including nature of assignments, staffing requirements, and oversee staffing of teams to projects based on understanding of client, office and individual needs
Work with Staffing partner and/or leadership team to ensure decisions best optimize tradeoffs between client service, utilization, and retention.
Business Analytics:
Work with Sr. Manager, Consulting Operations to develop and implement analytic tools to aid in management of SE consulting operations
Program/Class Management:
Develop one-on-one relationships with individuals in class to provide guidance and mentoring on career management. Meet with ACs periodically to understand their PD needs and preferences. Make tradeoffs between client needs, office utilization, and individual needs. Monitor case team assignments to ensure individuals have a variety of consulting projects/diverse experiences.
Manage professional development of Associate Consultants and Senior Associate Consultants. Review all case end and consensus reviews to ensure quality feedback and clear messages. Determine appropriate ratings for individuals or help consensus reviewers settle on appropriate ratings for individuals in assigned cohort.
Understand opportunities and processes of Bain's transfer, externship, and business school sponsorship programs.
Responsible for successful on-boarding and affiliation of AC classes, including holding class meetings and providing guidance on class events and trainings.
Partner with HR on performance management, employee relations and other issues related to employment law and policy matters
Contribute to the development of Atlanta's FEMP retention initiative to attract former ACs back to Bain Atlanta
Manager, North America Marketing
Responsibilities:
Leads local alumni and marketing program development, responsible for successful execution and outcomes
Assesses local marketing objectives and optimal mix of activities
Manages relevant budgets and resources
Directs local event strategy, outreach, training use of relevant technology platforms
Analyzes data to enable efficient management decision making
Adapts and implements global or regional firm initiatives
Facilitates Partner networking and client development
Achieves expert status with marketing tools and helps partners apply to meet business objectives. Identifies gaps in offerings, opportunities for improvement.
Works with office leadership to prioritize and gather relevant factbase on target companies and contacts
Leads overall team outcomes, collaboration, and satisfaction:
Coaches and develops junior marketing resource(s) to ensure execution of programs, including working independently and directly with office leadership
Seeks to optimize processes and enhance results, proactively shares ideas and learnings with broader marketing team
Contributes to team culture and morale, serves as role model to junior team members and local CSS staff
Serves as primary marketing contact for local office
Maintains strong relationships with regional alumni, marketing and HR colleagues to support new and existing alumni
Ensures positive departure experience for all eligible new alumni in the region
Helps alums transition successfully into next position through coaching, in conjunction with local leadership team
Analyzes exit survey data; makes/executes changes based on findings
Supports Bain's goal of creating a world class business network
Helps build life long connection to Bain through ongoing outreach and programming
Networks with employers, executive search firms, and alumni to keep pulse on industry job trends/climate
Provides support for new projects and initiatives as they arise

Qualifications
BA/BS in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business, or related field
6 years of professional experience required, including working directly with senior level customers/clients; strong preference with experience in consulting staff role
Exercises impeccable judgment when dealing with highly confidential information
Customer service orientation and a set of loyal (internal or external) clients who actively recommend his/her capabilities
Track record of designing, documenting, improving, and managing complex processes, with flawless attention to detail and very strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Communicates clearly and professionally to senior executives in verbal and written form; Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives to take action
Meets deadlines and prioritizes assignments to effectively juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
Manages projects effectively; delegates tasks to ensure delivery of multiple efforts simultaneously
Works independently in a fast-paced environment, is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and flexible
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Comprehensive knowledge of positions/industries most attractive to Bain alumni
Strong sales and interpersonal skills
Prior budgetary management experience
Flexibility to travel intermittently
