Senior Financial Analyst

Purpose:
Provides Business Support toClient Departments by developing business cases through preparing financialanalysis, modeling and reporting activities to support short-term andlong-range strategic plans, telling the story and preparing operating budgets forthe Outside Plant Maintenance and Field Services Departments.
Develops Business Cases, evaluatesdata, prepares forecasts, and analyzes trends in OPEX, CAPEX, operations,general business conditions, and other related areas. Identifies performanceissues and makes recommendations to management for remedial actions. Preparesand distributes periodic financial analyses and reports for internal andexternal stakeholders.
Productive professionalcontributor with strong understanding of area of focus. Assigned tolarger, moderately complex projects. Work requires increasingindependence; guidance is provided on a regular basis but primarily on unusualor complex issues. Work typically involves periodic review of output byothers. Expert level of Excel proficiency.
Main
Responsibilities:
Conducts research and analysis of financial data needed inplanning, budgeting/forecasting, cost control, cost avoidance and developmentof metrics to provide informed recommendations to leadership across CCI FieldServices/OSPM and Business Operations in setting and realizing cost objectives,and identifies emerging financial trends.
Performs ad-hoc financial analyses at multiple levels ofcomplexity which may include calculations of rate of return, depreciation, workingcapital, investments, budgeting, cost analysis, and financial and expenseperformance comparisons.
Develops, maintains, and provides historical and prospective financialinformation and analyses.
Creates, tests, distributes and tracks business cases/financialmodels, reports and dashboards. Recommends and implements changes; analyzes andreviews submitted data and resolves questions and/or problems;
Prepares regular and special financial reports for CCI FieldServices and OSPM;
Assists in the development and measurement of annual budget andbusiness planning process including the identification of trends and thedevelopment of measures to ensure budgets are followed.
Develops and modifies financial systems and corporate modelsrelated to budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditures.
Develops and modifies financial reports for executive management.
Provides recommendations for operational efficiencies and processimprovements and assists in policy development to support change initiatives.
At higher levels, may develop analytical tools and numericalmodeling of complex operations systems and processes.
Works cross functionally with internal and external stakeholdersfor delivery of analyses and projects. Specifically working with stakeholdersacross Field Services, OSPM, Product, Business Operations, IT and FP&A.
Supervision Nature of work requires increasing independence;receives guidance only on unusual complex problems or issues; Work reviewtypically involves periodic review of output by supervisor and/or direct'customers' of the process.
Minimum
5 or more years of experience preferred in related field (Finance,Accounting, Business, etc.) OR 3 years with Advanced degree.
Advanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis.
Strong/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Build and Present PPT presentation.
Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills to workeffectively with teams throughout organization.
Preferred
MBA degree in related discipline strongly desired (Finance,Accounting, Business, etc.)
Experience in telecommunications industry desired.
Familiarity with data query/data management tools extremelyhelpful (Access, SQL, Tableau, Business Objects).
Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast pacedenvironment.
