Java Spring MVC REST 5-10 years of JEE enterprise software dev experience.
Description:
Client is looking for a senior Java Enterprise development experience to assist our Services team with our Sprint MVC/REST, JPA back end.
You must have the ability to be self-motivated, track tasks independently, stay up to date with said tasks, and stay in contact with the team through instant messenger and online meetings.
We are migrating our existing app to integrate the data layer with our legacy application.
You will be expected to understand Spring MVC REST well along with Java Persistence frameworks.
These encapsulate the connection and translation to our legacy DB2 database.
You will help us to map the legacy tables and database constructs to integrate with our Next Generation application and vice versa.
Due to the cerebral nature of the project, you will be expected to be a problem solver who can also produce results.
This is expected to be a 9 month contract.
We may want you to travel during a ramp up period of a week or so but there should be almost no travel.
