Mobile Automation Engineer
Mobile Automation Engineer 6 Month Contract (strong possibility of extension) Atlanta, GA Our Fortune 100 Digital Media client is looking to expand their Mobile Quality Assurance team in a highly respected global organization.
As an Automation Engineer, you will help to assure high product standards for mobile application development for both strategic in-house systems as well as mobile products that carry our client's brand to external customers.
You will assist with transitioning the QA team from manual to automated testing practices, as well as strategize with and educate other team members on implementing test automation frameworks.
Responsibilities:
Develop test scripts for mobile applications utilizing Appium or other relevant, open-source testing frameworks.
Document test results and provide test progress/reports that will be used in assessing the completeness of the development effort.
Work closely with the development and product teams to ensure all relevant and agreed upon aspects of the application are tested.
Provide scope, resource and time estimates for projects presented for testing and analysis.
Identify and manage issues/defects for each assigned project.
Make available test status and progress reports to the project team.
Requirements:

years of professional experience performing automated testing utilizing Appium Framework, or other relevant mobile test automation frameworks.
Exposure to desktop browser, mobile or video app testing experience in either QA or development.
Experience working on an Agile software development team.
Experience with the iterative testing process of releasing code on demand.
Deep knowledge of internet technologies.
Exposure testing HTML/CSS/JavaScript based Desktop Browser, Mobile or OTT apps.
Highly responsive to the problems of internal and external customers.
Bonus:
Experience working with React Native highly desired but not required.
Experience working with Use Cases.
