BC/BE Surgicalist Career Opportunity

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is currently recruiting a board eligible/board certified general surgeon physician for our surgicalist program to support a busy, established practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join a nationally recognized healthcare system. The ideal candidate will be BC/BE. This opportunity will allow the selected applicant to join a team at a robust program. Candidate must possess skill set to perform routine general surgery procedures. Most procedures are minimally invasive with some complex cases. The work schedule consists of a 4-week rotation. 7 days with approximately 12-14 hour shifts (depending on the caseload, 2 physicians cover each 12 hour shift); 7 nights, 7 days off. Physician will assist with follow up appointments in the outpatient clinic during their rotation as needed. The team is comprised of three surgicalists, four general surgeons, and APP support. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
